It is easy to believe that a person would have to make a lot of money every year in order
to retire well, that is, with a lot of money available for retirement. No longer to have to
work for a living, but to live off of retirement savings and possibly drive an RV around
the country sightseeing. Right? YOU WOULD BE WRONG.
Thomas J. Stanley, Ph.D. wrote a book titled "The Millionaire Next Door" (I recommend
that you read this book) wherein he studied the millionaire population in America. He was
asked by a large money center bank in June 1980 to conduct a study on these people, and
he wrote a book about it. If you recall, Oprah had Dr. Stanley on her show once (2004). Dr. Stanley listed seven factors about people who become wealthy--the number one factor was
THEY LIVE WELL BELOW THEIR MEANS.
Fast forward to 2019 and Chris Hogan with the Dave Ramsey team published a new book that I have mentioned before "Everyday Millionaires". I also recommend you read this book
too! Remember it takes reading and learning to do better, and wealthy people are nonfiction readers, it turns out. In his book, Chris Hogan debunks the lies you have been told about who are the millionaires and how they got there. You will be surprised. Happily surprised because ANYONE WHO IS WILLING TO DO THE WORK, BE DISCIPLINED AND LEARN TO SAVE CAN DO VERY, VERY WELL IN RETIREMENT.
THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE MILLIONAIRES ARE HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT, RIGHT BEFORE YOU! DON'T BE FOOLED.
As I have said many times, there is a process to getting out of debt and saving for college and retirement. If you do not know where to start, a financial coach is a great investment in your future, and your children's future, and your grandchildren's future.
Call for help. Get started, you can do this. Do it now.
