Americans are NOT good savers on average.
We had rather have cable television, memberships to gyms, memberships to big
box stores and wine clubs rather than save that money every month. JUST SAVE THAT
MONEY ALONE. That means YOU HAVE THE MONEY, YOU JUST WANT TO SPEND IT
ALL, AND SAVE NONE.
We need 50 lipsticks, 200 pairs of shoes and coffee every morning so that we feel rich, yet
we end up poor.
PLEASE TELL ME THAT WE ARE NOT THAT VAIN, AND/OR IGNORANT.
PLEASE.
My passion is to take people, shake them (JK) show them what early retirement looks like
or at least how to do it right. Or, you could work forever carrying your coffee to work with
you every morning.
Now the average car payment is $554.00 (the average). I wonder, how many months will
you be making these payments? Now I am not against having a nice car, but it begs the
question, how are the average people with average income making these average car
payments for 60 months or more?
If you become what you think about most-then what are you working on becoming? I began to create a list of things, and it was too hard to type. We've got to aspire to higher thinking.
